Well we continue to discover the challenges of being away from family and friends with no where to go a long weekend is really really really a long weekend. We had beautiful weather and we did our best to wear out the kids but I think it was just Jeremy and I exhausted at the end of it all. We made our first visit the
Assiniboine Zoo, a stop for ice cream and lots of time at the park. We had a visit from the Easter bunny and the neighbours invited us to a lovely Sunday dinner.

| This is a sea eagle. It was as big as Madeline. |
| The lions were just waking up and put on quite a show. Madeline really liked the Lions until the Daddy lion started to roar and then she cried. |
| The Easter bunny brought treats for all. |
| Madeline had no clue what Easter was but she figured it out in a hurry. |
| She didn't even have a basket and picked up four eggs. |
| Playing in the back yard. |
| The sand/water table is out and a big hit with everyone. |
| Riding to the park. |
| Joseph still fits (but barely) his petal car and is sporting his new helmet. Thanks Grandpa and Baba. |
| Madeline is wearing some new face paint from the Easter bunny. |
| I love this picture. |
| We also stopped for ice cream while we were out and about and it went surprisingly well. Everyone ate nicely there was no crying, screaming, asking for something else, no turned up noses, not even any spills. I think I might feed the kids ice cream for every meal. |
