Of all the birthday's in our little family Jeremy's is my favourite. Kids parties are usually stressful, mine just makes me old and Mommy always knows just what to get Daddy (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
The kids get super excited about making cards and cake for Daddy and trying their very best to keep his presents a secret. Jeremy always acts surprised and like whatever they made or got him was the best thing ever. Thanks to everyone who sent cards, gifts and even cupcakes in the mail. We are finding being away from family harder than we thought and all the treats in the mail were great.
As part of the birthday weekend Jeremy and I took the afternoon off from the kids, went to the gym, went out for dinner at
Boon Burger, then out for a little birthday shopping.
