Ready or NOT.

Sometimes I wish I had cameras running 24/7 around the house so I could capture everything that happens during our day with the kids.   The blog really only highlights the milestone sort of moments but some of the funniest things happen when the camera isn't on and nobody is looking. Saturday was the perfect example.

The kids are upstairs playing high and go seek while I make supper.  Jeremy is downstairs watching (and by watching I mean napping) one of his new birthday movies.  This is what I hear while in the kitchen.  Joseph counting to ten while Isabella and Maddy scramble to find hiding spots. Joseph gets to nine Mississippi and I hear  Isabella yell "I am not ready yet" followed by, Joseph screaming, followed by Joseph shouting through tears, "Isabella punched me in the nose."

Sure enough Joseph had gotten to nine and, Isabella still right in front of him, must have turned and punch him right in the face.  I really wish I had seen the punch.  Joseph had tears streaming down his face and clearly it hurt. Poor guy would have had his eyes closed while counting to ten so he never even saw it coming.  After first aid was administered and punishments handed out and apologies accepted.  Joseph said "Isabella how's your hand? That was a good shot"
