Christmas 2011-Isabella's Birthday

Isabella turned 4 this year and we had a blast.  Joseph and Madeline were up first so we woke up Isabella with a round of Happy Birthday.  We then headed out to open some Christmas presents.

Madeline proudly sits in her big girl booster seat with her big girl house coat on helping us set the pink birthday table.

Madeline loves our tradition Christmas breakfast of cinnamon buns.

Isabella is sporting her new bathing suit and combing the hair of her new tangled doll.

The doll was a big Santa hit.  Her hair glows when you comb it.

After all the presents we opened we played for a bit then had a super big brunch and played some more.  Madeline had a nap and when she woke up we sang happy birthday to Isabella again and opened some birthday presents.

Still wearing her bathing suit but now with a birthday crown.  She opens her favourite gift...the electric toothbrush.

The balloon also a big hit.

We finally decided it might be time to get dressed and get out of the house.  We headed over to our friend Marybeth's for Christmas dinner, pink cupcakes and another round of happy birthday.

We didn't get to take very many photos at the party because our friends have a brand new baby boy Daniel.  He is very sweet but Mom and Dad were a little overwhelmed having a house full of guests for the first time.  I got on drink patrol and helped with baby holding. Isabella and Madeline loved to give him hugs and kisses but he didn't like it too much.

 

Isabella had lots of fun and everyone went out of their way to make her feel very special. I can't believe she is four already!! She will start kindergarden this September where does the time go?
